I have a dangerous Etsy obsession. I have so many items in my basket that I'm literally not allowed to add anymore and, if left to my own devices, I would absolutely buy everything in it proceed to fill it up again. Fortunately I do have some semblance of self-control so what I do is slowly chip away at my "wishlist," if you will. Here's a rundown of what I'm obsessing over at he moment:
This day of the dead paper mache mask from Rose's Artistic Views is simply stunning (and pink!!). As much as I would like to paint a sugar skull on my face I know that it would only end up looking like I let a toddler scribble on it. So why not don a beautiful mask such as this instead? Considering that I would likely hang it on my wall long after the dia de los muertos festivities have ended, it's a steal at $40.
Speaking of dia de los muertos, So Sweet Pops is the only place I've been able to find sugar skull cake pops. They are adorable and I have not doubt in my mind they're delicious as well in cake flavors like chocolate, vanilla, lemon, carrot or strawberry. Yum! In addition to sugar skull the shop has jack-o-lanterns and eyeballs- all things Halloween and a lot more. They're almost too cute to eat but I'm sure I'd find a way to get over it.
Lastly, I am sharing yet another batch of brilliant cookie art from The Tailored Cookie who makes the best looking shortbread cookies I've seen yet! This black and white Halloween assortment comes in a baker's dozen (lucky 13) for $50. These are my kind of jack-o-lanterns! A beautifully chic twist on traditional orange pumpkin fare.
