Window shopping is about all I can do right now given that my closet is still inhabited by destroyed cropped jeans, maxi dresses and racerback tanks. I cannot wait to pack away my summer gear and break out the sweaters, hoodies, thermals and boots! In the meantime, I'm filling my online shopping baskets and not-so-patiently waiting...
ModCloth is a dangerous playground for me, my credit cards and my vision. I could spend hours scrolling through pages and pages of vintage-inspired goodies like this Ticket to Ferry Ride Cape ($59.99). I'd love to pair it with some indigo jeggings and knee high boots.
I've also been eyeing their Everyday Adventurous Tunic ($49.99) which I could possibly get away with wearing with a pair of gladiator sandals now but I refuse to by anything else until the weather changes. I realize this may not happen for a while now but a girl can daydream...
While we're on the subject of ModCloth, I am really going to need them to bring the Beguiling Beauty Dress in Green Plaid ($59.99) back. Maybe if we all click the link and click the "I Need It" button they'll do us a solid? (See, this is why I should've learned to sew!)
Back to fall though. While not especially stylish (although I think they're cute), I can't wait to curl up on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate in these cozy chenille lounge pants ($19.90) and matching pom pom hoodie ($24.90) from Forever 21. I might even run slip on a pair of Uggs an run to the store. Who gon' check me, boo? (My kids. My kids will check me.)
Lastly these babies right here will be a staple in my fall closet. The American Eagle Outfitters Denim X Artist Flare Jean. They combine everything I love into one little package for $54.95. They are comfortable ("super stretch cotton blend denim"), come in up to a 36-inch inseam, and they have a button fly (why are these so hard to find???). I have one pair in regular length but I want another with a longer inseam to wear with heels. I wish these came in other washes but I'll take what I can get.
