One thing I seem to say a lot when talking about my children is that kids today are more sophisticated than I ever remember being. They know more, use words I have to look up in a dictionary, and they dress like miniature adults. Gone are the days of paper dolls and baby dolls. The bar has been raised! Our little girls are fashionistas so it seems reasonable that our daughters would want their teddy bears to meet the same standards, right? Build-A-Bear Workshop introduced Harajuku Hugs Panda today and gave me the opportunity to share her with my daughter. She instantly fell in love with the bear's heart-shaped marking around her eyes and her pink ears and feet. Of course the next order of business was the bear's clothing and accessories which reflect rocker Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers brand of japanese pop art-inspired style. Some of her favorites were the black bow headband and Harajuku Hugs shoes. I personally loved the Harajuku Hugs heart dress. Adorable!
