What's Hoppening Easter Weekend in LA

It's Easter weekend and if you're anything like me, you've procrastinated on making plans for Easter brunch and/or egg hunts and are now scrambling to find something festive to do this weekend. No worries! I've got you. I've compiled a list of the best Easter brunches and egg hunts in and around the L.A. area. Some of which have been booked for a few weeks now but may be accommodating walk-ins or may have a waiting list they can add you to, so definitely give them a call:

The Malibu Cafe at Calamigos Ranch

Spend the day outside basking in the Southern California weather at the beautiful Malibu Cafe from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Enjoy brunch bites and sweet treats, take a paddleboat ride, strike a pose in the photo booth, try your hand at cornhole, and partake in their Bellini or Bloody Mary Bar while the little ones hunt for eggs and make new friends at the petting zoo. There's plenty to see and do at The Malibu Cafe. I do recommend arrive early (before 9:00 am) to stake out a table or spot on the lawn if you don't already have a reservation.

The Queen Mary

Dining, hotel, an tour/exhibit guests of The Queen Mary in Long Beach will be treated to loads of fun including an egg hunt in the Queen's Salon from 1:00 - 2:00 pm as well as games, a petting zoo, a balloon artist, facepainting, and airbrush tattoos.  End the day with a free screening of Hop at 3:30 pm in the Queen's Salon.

Enjoy the Easter Sunday Champagne Brunch aboard The Queen Mary from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Make reservations here ($69.95 per adult, $24.95 per child). Other dining options include The Promenade Cafe, Chelsea Chowder House, and Sir Winston's Restaurant & Lounge.

The Langham, Pasadena

There are three brunch options at The Langham in Pasadena. All of them include the Easter Egg Hunt in The Horseshoe Garden at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm as well as the Kid's Huntington Express Train and petting zoo. Choose from:
  • The Chef's Market Brunch in the Royce Wood-Fired Steakhouse  from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm ($105 per adult, $48 per child)
  • The Bountiful Easter Brunch in the Huntington Ballroom from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm which includes free flowing champagne ($115 per adult, $54 per child)
  • Easter Dim Sum Brunch in the Terrace from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm which includes live music ($68 per adult, $32 per child)
I just got word that The Langham is fully booked for reservations but they are taking walk-ins.

If you know of any other awesome Easter brunch/egg hunts happening in the L.A. area, please share in the comments section below.

However you decide to celebrate, have an amazing weekend!
