When I heard that there was an actual maze based on the Ready Player One in Hollywood, there was no way I was going to miss it! The challenge consists of props from the movie, live characters, and lots of Instagrammable photo ops.
You start off in The Stacks, which is where Wade Watts lives in Columbus, Ohio in 2045. Before entering the Oasis, your guide will explain to you that you have to find three keys inside the maze in order to complete it. My son was determined to race through the maze to finish first. I was far more interested in basking in the 80's nostalgia. We both got what we wanted by visiting twice and we're going back next weekend before it's gone.
The experience is open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm but it closes for good on April 1st. Reservations are now closed, but the standby lines have been relatively short (under an hour). Don't miss it!
