Oscars 2019: My Favorite Red Carpet Looks

I'm not big on ceremonies (or most anything that requires my attention for an extended period of time). And while I don't possess extensive knowledge about couture or runway fashion, I do love seeing Hollywood's best and brightest descend on the red carpet (any red carpet will do) for the ultimate night of dress up. Let’s get into my favorite red carpet looks of the last night’s Academy Awards...
First off, pink is my favorite color and Angela Bassett was e.ver.y.THING in Reem Arca. She's genetically gifted to begin with, so I suspect she could've worn literally anything and still floored me. True definition of a queen.

Pink was clearly the color of the evening and Sarah Paulson slayed the red carpet in her hot pink Brandon Maxwell ensemble.

Someone said something asinine about Helen Mirren wearing stripper shoes to the Oscar, referring to her lucite heels. I’d like to think she twirled on em in her pink Schiaparelli gown. I love her.

Constance Wu was like a ray of sunshine gracing the red carpet in vibrant yellow Versace. She’s gorgeous and the hue is so flattering on her.

Living her life like it’s golden. Truly. Danai Gurira looked positively regal in gold her gold Brock Collection gown.

Mahershala Ali lookin fresh to death in the Sharina hat by Gigi Burris Millinery before his win for Best Supporting Actor for Green Book.

Regina King never disappoints as she gave us old Hollywood glam on the red carpet. She looked breathtaking in Oscar de la Renta. Congrats on your Best Supporting Actress win for If Beale Street Could Talk, queen!

Gushing over these two gushing over each other. Sweet love in lilac. Jason Momoa in a Fendi tuxedo and Lisa Bonet in Fendi Couture.

Michael B. Jordan kept it classy in Tom Ford and I love that he brought his mother, Donna, as his date. They both looked amazing!
