If you're in or near L.A. and your little ones (or you- I don't judge) are super hyped for The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, there's a really cool experience on the corner of Hollywood and Vine that should tide them over until the movie hits theaters February 8, 2019.The space features several larger than life photo ops with characters from the film, a set of giant turn tables to but your sick moves on, a Lego family bumper sticker generator, and lots more fun surprises. And the experience is indoors so if we get a little rain on the day you plan to visit, fear not (the line, however, is outdoors. Pack an umbrella just in case).
While the free pre-registration tickets were sold out at the time of this post, I can report that when my son and I visited earlier today, the standby line was not long at all. This could be attributed to some big football game taking place today though. there is also currently a waiting list, worth signing up for. But even if that doesn't pan out, go! I'd just recommend going early and packing snacks to keep busy while you wait. You won't be sorry.
Lego Space Hollywood runs through February 10, 2019 and is open weekdays from 2pm to 8pm and weekends 11an to 9pm.
