It's summer, and that means staycations! Recently, we spent a weekend in West Hollywood celebrating our girl's birthday at The Pendry on the Sunset Strip. I've visited this location several times, but I'm always entranced with the beauty of this property from the moment I walk through its doors.
Given that it was a hot and sunny day in LA, there was no better way than to spend the afternoon at the rooftop pool which boasts stunning views of the city for miles. From our shaded pool chairs, we sampled what felt like most of the food and cocktail menu and were not disappointed. In between rounds, we helped ourselves to the poolside H2o and aloe vera dispenser (such a nice and refreshing touch!).
Once we'd had enough of the sun, we headed down to our room to change for dinner. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about just how stunning the rooms are- Right down to the lighting fixtures! I could easily spend the entire weekend taking it all in. However, we were there to celebrate and that we did. We took the festivities back up to the rooftop, this time to Merois, to watch the sunset over drinks.
