Magnolia Park Welcomes Target Burbank West!

It's official! Magnolia Park in Burbank has a new neighbor and I couldn't be more thrilled about the new addition. Anyone that knows me knows that I can spend hours wandering he aisles of a Target store. And now I have one within walking distance of my home. Dreams really do come true! For months I have been driving past the former piano store, eagerly anticipating the opening of Target Burbank West. Admittedly, I had wondered how they were going to make it work. From the outside it looked like such a small space. Regardless, I couldn't wait to see it from the inside.

Last night my waiting came to an end when I was invited to a sneak peek of the store at the official ribbon-cutting event along with local officials, Target team members, and community members alike. Store Team Leader, Jon Lamirault, greeted guests during festivities before inviting everyone in to "Discover the joy of everyday life."

To say that the store exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. What was initially referred to as a Target Express evoked images of limited stock compared to the stores larger counterparts and I wondered what would be left out. In a nutshell? Not much. While indeed condensed, they managed to cram a whole lot of awesome into a smaller store. Inside you'll find a pharmacy, market with everything from frozen foods to fresh produce, cleaning products, electronics, beauty, clothing, and more. Essentially everything you love about Target right in the neighborhood.

Target Burbank West, located at 1033 North Hollywood Way (off of Magnolia Boulevard), will officially open Sunday, April 8th at 8:00am. Be among the first shoppers to receive a tote bag while supplies last.
