New Shoes!

There are days when I go through my closet in search of something to wear and, despite the fact that I've taken over both sides of the closet since my husband deployed and it's chock full of dresses, blouses, and jeans, I come up empty handed.  The clothes that I once loved and likely obsessed over no longer move me.  It's not their fault.  They haven't changed.  It's me.  Been there, done that and quite frankly I'm bored.  I figured the best way to revive my wardrobe was new accessories and, really, nothing beats a great pair of shoes. 

Ruby Shoo is a brand out of the UK that I've loved for a long time.  They're well made and each

pair has a beautiful vintage design that you don't see every day so they're definitely attention grabbers for all the right reason.  They look great with a simple dress and a statement necklace or a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt.  I literally wanted every pair on their website but settled on two, Eva in navy and April in plum). 

I was fine with the two pairs of Ruby Shoo heels I'd purchased and I was going to leave it alone, but in my search for cute vintage-inspired footwear, I stumbled upon a pair of white oxford heels- something I had been looking for but never really found.  Well, they found me and it felt like fate so I bought those!  They were super comfortable from the moment I put them on.  My only concern is that the sole is very, very thin so I'm hoping an insole will help because  I'm seriously contemplating wearing them to Dapper Day at Disneyland this year!
