Revlon Run/Walk

On Saturday, May 7th, my family and I participated in the 18th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women. My mother in law, Phyllis, passed away in 1998 from breast cancer. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I know she raised a wonderful son and I wanted to honor her memory on mother's day by walking in her name.

I also walked in the name of my dear friend's mother, Ella McCoy. She was a beautiful spirit who always had a ready smile up until the end of her fight with breast cancer two years ago. It was an experience like no other and I was very happy to participate because every dollar raised at the event has helped bring us one step closer to a cure for women's cancers.
